German healthy footwear brand Von Wellx to manufacture in India

German healthy footwear brand Von Wellx will be moving its manufacturing unit from China to India, something that Indian Prime Minister had been trying to do as companies plan to move their manufacturing units from China due to the Covid-19 outbreak.

The Von Wellx brand is owned by Casa Everz Gmbh, and the company will start manufacturing out of Agra in Uttar Pradesh soon (in partnership with Iatric Industries Pvt Ltd.

Von Wellx sells orthopaedic footwear in over 80 countries around the world. Its range of orthopaedic footwear are designed to provide comfort from heel pain, swollen feet, knees and back pain, and also helps maintain correct posture. Its products are based on the internationally patented ‘5 Zones technology’ which was developed by German orthopaedic, Naturopath Dr Walter Mauch.

Stimulation by their 5 Zones Reflex-bed provide the following benefits:

  • Increase blood circulation in the head
  • Relax the muscles in the nape of the neck
  • Improve breathing due to the relaxation of the shoulder girdle
  • Co-ordinate the autonomic nervous system
  • Relax the muscles in the upper part of the abdomen
  • Improve the functions of the digestive system
  • Improve blood circulation in the pelvic region
