Most soccer / football players have to be on their toes for 90 minutes (and some matches do go into extra time).
In order to train right, football players need to do a variety of exercises so that they can run for longer duration with small rapid sprints.
If you’re a Football player, you need to make improvements in the following areas to improve your game:
- Explosive acceleration and fast sprinting speed.
- Muscular endurance and strength in the lower body.
- Body awareness and agility
- Good flexibility to avoid injury, football players are prone to poor hamstring flexibility.
- Correct balance between your quadriceps and hamstrings, as well as strength imbalances between your left and right leg.
