After taking a long pregnancy break, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been working out really hard to get back in shape, to prepare for her roles in her upcoming movies. Bebo has already lost 12 kilos of flab post her pregnancy.
Kareena’s best friend Amrita Arora recently shared few pictures and videos showing Kareena working out.
Here’s a video where Kareena goes up the stairs and comes down (without turning around). Its a nice exercise that you can try out on the stairs of your office or your residential building.
Here’s a nice exercise for your abs/core:
Take that Kettle-bell and start doing this exercise…squats that also exercises your arms.
Another great exercise for your core…use those ropes.
Drink water and keep yourself hydrated. And have a good stretch after you workout.

Shilpa Shetty
Shilpa Shetty (the actor-businesswoman) may not be actively doing films now, but she was always known for her svelte figure and was considered one of the sexiest women in Bollywood. Shilpa is over 40 years (and a mother as well), but she has still maintained her figure by following a healthy diet and a strict exercise regime.
Contrary to what many believe, Shilpa Shetty is a Yoga person, and not really a gym person! She firmly believes that you can keep fit and lose weight just by Yoga, and you really don’t have to spend hours at the gym to be fit. Shilpa does yoga religiously every day for almost an hour.
However, Shilpa understands that gymming is necessary to achieve certain results.
For example, before going for reality show ‘Big Brother’, Shilpa was aware that her Indian figure, with big curves, may not appeal to Europeans, who have a different concept of beauty. It was then (based on her fitness trainer’s inputs) she hit the gym and started weight-training to get that toned look.
She also believe in eating right, and is fond of eating non vegetarian (only fish and lean chicken), which she considers healthy. Shilpa avoids red meat as it increases cholesterol and fat in the body.
But Shilpa relishes fish, which is a great source of omega 3 oil that helps maintain the elasticity in the skin and is also a great source of protein with minimum fats. Even lean chicken is a great source of protein, which Shilpa Shetty eats almost everyday.
Shilpa Shetty’s Biggest Diet Secret
Shilpa Shetty shared her biggest diet secret, which, she believes helps her maintain her weight, gives her a clear skin, and also helps her maintain a good body.
And that is to drink warm water all the time.
Shilpa always carries a bottle of warm water with here, whenever she steps out of her house. Initially, she didn’t like it, but now she’s used to drinking only warm water.
Shilpa believes drinking warm water helps clear toxins from the body and increases the metabolic rate, which in turn helps in burning fat.
Shilpa Shetty – Fitness DVDs and Fitness Book
In the past, Shilpa had released a fitness DVD, Shilpa’s Yoga, and has now co-authored ‘The Great Indian Diet’ with fitness expert Luke Coutinho.
Shilpa says, “I wish people would stop thinking about weight loss and think more about gaining health. I hope this book brings a small change in people. We should be health obsessed and not weight obsessed.”
Actor Anil Kapoor has written the foreword to this book by Shilpa. Shilpa said, “One shouldn’t work out with Anil Kapoor because I don’t know where he derives his energy from. He is one of the most disciplined actors I have worked with. I couldn’t think of a better person to write my forward for the book because he lives by the philosophy of The Great Indian Food. I also should tell you that Anilji never likes what is in his plate; he is always fond of what others are eating (laughs). We share the Chembur connection and we are foodies. I am so happy he is here to support me.”

Indian Tennis player Sania Mirza has been sharing fitness videos chronicling her fitness journey after becoming a mother.
The various videos that she has posted on Instagram has captions that reveal how challenging it was for her to feel fit and healthy again.
Her videos serve as an inspiration for many moms who wish to emulate her success.
Sania Mirza lost close to 26 kgs over a period of four months after giving birth to a baby boy. Here’s the throwback video where you can see Sania working out in the gym and in the caption she reveas how she lost the post-pregnancy weight.

“We had documented little tid bits from my post pregnancy journey back to being and feeling healthy and fit again .. I’ve been asked bout my weight loss’ journey sooo many times .. how? When? Which? Where ? So I’ll try to post some of it here everyday or every few days .. I put on 23 kilos when I was pregnant and have managed to lose 26 in span of 4 months or so .. with a lot of hard work ,discipline and dedication .. I read msgs from women allll the time as to how they find it so difficult to come back to normalcy’ after child birth and don’t take care of themselves or don’t find the motivation or inspiration ..
Ladies, I just wanna say … if I can do it then anyone else can too .. believe me that one hour or 2 hours a day to yourself will do wonders to you physically but sooo much mentally as well ..remember – #Mummahustles Ps- this is me after losing a bit of weight already after Izhaan was born .. roughly 2 and a half half months after I delivered,” Sania’s caption on the video, which went viral with moms loving it.
Here’s a more recent video where you can see Sania sweating it out hard in the gym. She can be seen running on the treadmill, doing weight exercises, and boxing in the video. She is seen working out wearing a simple black T-shirt with quirky print yoga pants, and a blue jacket tied around her waist, and a pair of sneakers.
