But then do these expensive shoes really give you the comfort they promise?
Most of the shoes (even from premium brands) look as if they are outsourced to some cheap sources. The ones costing around a couple of thousand rupees come with plastic soles.
Here are more instances where users were unhappy with some of the premium shoes.
“I purchased a sports shoes costing Rs 5999.00, and it did not last even 3 months. Similar experience with shoes between Rs 3000 to Rs 5000.00, which lasted for 3-5 months. Friends, be careful with these premium brands and try to find out where they are manufactured.”

German sports goods maker Adidas is re-positioning Reebok as a premium fitness brand in India as part of a major revival drive for the brand after shutting down hundreds of outlets last year following a financial scandal. The company plans to open 100 premium stores, called Reebok Fit Hubs, by March next to sell premium products such as shoes priced at Rs 12,000, and provide fitness consultation to customers.Full story here…
