David Lloyd Leisure, Europe’s largest and fastest-growing group of premium racquets, health and fitness clubs, is now in India through its partnership with Talwalkars.
David Lloyd, the former captain of the British Davis Cup Tennis team, opened his first club in 1981 with a vision to deliver high-quality fitness and leisure offering for the entire family to enjoy.
The club in Pune offers international standard sports and fitness facilities, including heated outdoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, racquets facilities inclusive of tennis, squash and badminton, a multi-purpose hall, gym and group exercise studios which hosts classes like Spinning, Zumba and Yoga.
Other leisure facilities include kids activity rooms, kids soft play zone, billiards room, spa, adult and business lounges and multiple dining areas – Poolside cafe, The Clubroom, and a rooftop Global Bar and Restaurant that offer exclusive food menus. The club boasts of Pune’s longest bar 110 ft long and can accommodate up to 200 people.
Besides the premium facilities at the club, the club offers expert coaching programmes to people of all ages – children as well as adults – to help them improve their techniques, refining their skills, and even pursue professional goals.
The first ‘David Lloyd Clubs Talwalkars’ is operational in Pune.
