The only error in the article is regarding the weights because the actual fact is that he is still doing his weight training (body weight exercises, free weights, and weight machines) the same way he has ALWAYS done it since joining Bollywood in 1983 (absolutely no cutting down and definitely no stopping)!! He himself said that he NEVER lets his back stop him from doing what he has to do, and he still does his weights with total ease. He is a total workhorse and extremely tough as nails! He actually only replaced squash with table tennis! The 2 youtube below videos prove it!

Sunny Deol is my biggest inspiration of working out daily (weights and yoga) to get stronger. I am a huge fan of him and his action movies. I love his lifelong perseverance, and that he NEVER backs down no matter what and that mindset of feeling young at heart. He is a lot like his dad, Dharmendra. Rock on Paaji!!

The back issue is NOT something new because he has had that since joining films in back in summer of 1983. Also, weight training is actually either any one of or combo of 3 things: lifting free weights, using weight machines, and doing body weight exercises. It is just that if he is NOT doing one thing, he is doing the one of the others, as he has ALWAYS done it his whole career or so. His actual routine ALWAYS starts with weight training (NEVER out of question no matter what), followed by cardio, yoga, and sports/swimming/hiking. He is very well disciplined and extremely dedicated to working out very hard and carefully. In recent years, it has been table tennis as his sport and swimming as his cardio (after weight training and yoga). However, he is still very strict about his routine. His rule is “Kabhi haar nahin maanta!!” and still push to beat the limits every single day. He is a true JAT!! Even though he has done a lot less action movies in last so many years, he holds his own and still does his own stunts and continues to be the MACHO ACTION KING!!

I am a huge fan of Sunny Deol, the very tough-as-nails macho action man! I join the other fans above and will also help make this very clear about our great Paaji (HE STILL ALWAYS STARTS HIS WORKOUT WITH WEIGHT TRAINING THE SAME WAY HE HAS ALWAYS DONE IT EVEN BEFORE JOINING MOVIES!). No excuses!! He is the real inspiration to workout the old-school way with very hard work (no shortcuts). It is amazing that despite his back issues since joining Bollywood in 1983, he is still at it and keeps on going, meaning he still works out, plays sports, and goes on long hikes; he can still do his own stunts! In all, he is truly the ageless (evergreen) He-Man with that sheer machismo and gorilla strength.
