Michelin-starred chef and PepsiCo nutrition ambassador Vikas Khanna has given popular Indian breakfasts a healthy twist with the new ready-to-cook Quaker Nutri Food range.
Vikas launched a range of ready-to-cook breakfast mixes from Quaker, one of the world’s leading oats brand.
The Quaker Nutri Foods range consists of Nutri idli, Nutri Dosa, Nutri Khichdi, and Nutri Upma – all made with almost fifty percent wholegrain oats and real vegetables which provides dietary fibre, protein and selenium.
“The lifestyles of millennials today is increasingly rushed and they are looking at nutrition solutions in the morning because that’s the only time of the day that they have control over,” said Deepika Warrier, vice president nutrition category, India region.
All these foods are quick to prepare, yet high on taste, and now its healthier too. You can have these as is or mix it with other things for more exciting breakfast options.
At the event in Delhi, Vikas presented a gourmet dish of Quaker Nutri idli – with a dash of jack-fruit and beet juice, served with a curry leaf emulsion.
