How did you get into the fitness industry
In 1998, I used to work as a Gym trainer. While working on the job, I realised that because of lack of time, people were unable to focus more on their fitness. Many who enrolled for the gym were also quite irregular and eventually stopped coming to the gym.
That is when I thought that it would be better if I could provide the service to people at home. I quit my job as a personal trainer and started providing personal training service to people at their homes.
Where did you learn about fitness?
Right from my childhood I was more interested in sports (rather than studies). I went to Nepal and learnt Karate & Kick Boxig from Dashrath Rangshaala. Later I also learnt Yoga.
How do you promote your fitness personal training business?
I promote my personal training business by placing ads on internet, my publishing leaflets in newspapers, and by regularly posting on Facebook.
All the informational posts that I share on Facebook are my own experiences, and not copied from anywhere.
Do you take supplements?
I do not take any supplements nor do I recommend it to my clients. Most of my clients are businessmen (not in to heavy workouts) so I suggest them to go for a balanced diet in order to get the right nutrients – proteins, vitamins, minerals.
Those who take part in professional level competitions (bodybuilding) need supplements. For others, supplements are not required.
